Northern Railway Central Hospital is 430 bedded hospital providing comprehensive health care to right from neonates to the elderly patients.Hospital have round the clock functional 20 bedded emergency department which is fully equipped to deal with all sorts of medical and surgical emergencies. Hospital have four well-equipped high-tech ambulances to transport patient during emergencies.

Hospital have all the major specialties like Medicine,Surgery,Orthopedics Physiotherapy, Obstretics & Gynecology. ENT, Pediatrics, Opthalmology and Anesthesia. Hospital have round the clock functional well equipped Pathology and Blood Bank services.

Medical wards are equipped with multiparameter monitors,central piped oxygen and suction, defibrillators,BIPAP and CPAP machines. Hospital have 11 bedded state of art Intensive Care Unit with ventilators. Facilities of all the sub-specialities like Cardiology, Nephrology, Gastroenterology, Psychiatry, Neurology, Dermatology, Pulmonology, Oncology and Rheumatology are available. Hospital have state of art four bedded Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and ten bedded Surgical Intensive Care Unit. Department of Surgery is doing all kind of general surgeries as well as advanced laproscopic surgeries. Hospital have seven state of art operation theatre, out of which three OTs are modular.

To provide holistic treatment to our beneficiaries AYUSH Centre with facilities of consultation with Ayurvedic, Homeopathic, Yoga, Unani and Siddha doctors are available.

All the specialties have standard treatment protocols for uniform treatment. Hospital is actively participating in Swatch Baharat Abhiyan.

To provide health care at the door steps of our beneficiaries, six health units are functional at Basant lane Railway Colony, Tilak Bridge Railway Colony, Sarojini Nagar Railway Colony, Baroda House, Lajpat Nagar Railway Colony and Sardar Patel Marg Railway Colony.

Hospital is in the process of becoming ‘Indian Railway Institute of Medical sciences’ (IRIMS) which shall be hub of Post graduate teaching and training in near future.
