Dialysis is the process of removing excess water, solutes and toxins from the blood when kidneys are unable to perform these functions in the natural way. Dialysis unit of Northern Railway Central Hospital has fully computerised bicarbonate haemodialysis machines with volumetric ultrafiltration which provides better patient safety profile. We are also equipped in providing R.O(Reverse Osmosis) water for dialysis to prevent long term problems. We use computerized dialyzer re-use system to ensure safety and economise dialysis for the patient. Throughout the dialysis procedure, we constantly monitor our patients when undergoing dialysis using highly sophisticated monitors. We also have separate rooms for Hepatitis B & C positive patients.
