  • Pediatrics Department on Northern Railway Central Hospital provides preventive and curative and rehabilitative health care to infants and children of railway health service beneficiaries.

  • Pediatric Indoor ward: 30 bedded pediatric ward with 5 bedded High Dependency Unit(HDU)

  • Special care neonatal unit- 6 bedded unit with facility of baby warmers, phototherapy, exchange transfusion, bubble CPAP and ventilation for sick term and preterm babies, along with round the clock neonatal care to all the newborns delivered in NRCH.

  • Immunization cell –Comprehensive immunization services are being provided to all the children on daily basis, so that not a single child remains unimmunized. We have conducted 6 rounds of intensified mission indradhanush apart from providing routine immunization services from birth till 15 years of age. We also provide vaccination to high risk patients, cervical cancer vaccine for adolescent girls and also adult vaccination like Hepatitis B, pneumococcal vaccine etc.

  • School health care – we organise regular annual school health check-up camps in NRWWO run schools in railway colonies.

  • Samvedna and Mamta day care centre – we provide special need based medical care to specially abled children in the day care centres viz Samvedna and Mamta

  • Medical Education training and research- we provide post graduate medical education , training and research facilities to DNB residents, junior residents , interns and senior resident in the discipline of paediatrics ( including neonatology)
